Free Decision Wheel — Spin to Choose Randomly

Welcome to the UtilixVerse Decision Wheel — a free, offlinerandom decision spinner for when you cannot (or will not) choose. Add your options, hit spin, and let fate decide. It is perfect for settling arguments, picking who goes first, choosing what to eat, drawing dares, or just having fun with friends — every slice gets an equal chance, so the outcome is always fair.

How the Spinner Works

Each option becomes an equal pie slice on the wheel. When you pressSpin the Wheel, the wheel accelerates then smoothly decelerates over several full rotations, and the segment under the pointer when it stops is your winner. Built-insound effects tick as the pointer passes each slice, followed by a little victory chime, and a confetti burst celebrates the result.

Full Customization

Start from a preset (Yes/No/Maybe, What to Eat, Who Goes First, Roll a Die, Truth or Dare, Magic 8-Ball, and more) or build your own list. Add up to 60 options, edit them inline, shuffle the order, recolor any slice from a curated palette or with a custom color, and toggle options on or off with the eye button. Your wheel is saved automatically in your browser, so it is waiting for you next time.

Shareable Wheels

Every wheel has a share link. Copy it and send it to anyone — when they open the link they land on the exact same options. Use it for a group vote, a work raffle, or a long-distance “you pick” — no accounts, no signup, just a URL.

Private, Offline, and Free

The entire spinner runs in your browser: the animation, the Web Audio sounds, and the confetti are all generated locally. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, and it workscompletely offline — a genuinely private random picker that is always free.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Decision Wheel

How does the Decision Wheel pick a winner?

Every option on the wheel gets an equal slice. When you press spin, the wheel rotates through several full turns and decelerates smoothly, and the slice under the pointer at the very top when it stops is the winner. Because the landing angle is chosen at random for every spin, each enabled option has exactly the same chance of winning — a perfectly fair random decision maker.

Can I add my own options?

Absolutely. Type an option and press Enter (or click Add) to insert it, edit any label inline, remove options you do not want, and toggle options off with the eye button so they stay saved but stay off the wheel. You can have up to 60 options, and every change is saved automatically in your browser.

How do I share a wheel with friends?

Open the “Share This Wheel” panel and copy the link. The current options are encoded directly into the URL, so anyone who opens the link lands on the exact same wheel — perfect for voting, picking who pays, or settling arguments. Only options that are currently enabled are included in the shared link.

Where does the sound come from? Does it need internet?

All sounds are synthesized live in your browser with the Web Audio API — short tick sounds as the pointer passes each segment and a little victory chime when the wheel stops. Nothing is downloaded and nothing leaves your device, so the whole tool, sound included, works fully offline. You can mute it any time with the Sound button.

Is the Decision Wheel free and private?

Yes. It is 100% free with no signup, and everything — the wheel, your options, the spin history, even the confetti — runs entirely in your browser. No data is ever sent to a server. Your custom wheel and spin history are stored only in your browser’s localStorage, and you can clear the history or start fresh at any time.

Why do I need at least two options to spin?

A decision only makes sense when there are at least two choices to pick between. The wheel requires a minimum of two enabled options — with a single option there would be nothing to randomly decide. Add a couple of options (or load a preset) and you are ready to go.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The wheel is rendered on a high-resolution canvas that scales to any screen size, the spin button and editors are sized for touch, and the tool is fully responsive. It also respects the “reduce motion” accessibility setting by spinning faster without the long animation.
