Tournament Bracket Generator

You paste a list of entrants and the tool builds a complete single-elimination bracket instantly. Each round halves the field: winners advance, losers are out, and the last match crowns the champion. The bracket is displayed left-to-right as rounds, so you can see the whole tournament at a glance.

The bracket automatically expands to the next power of two (2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 slots) and adds “byes” to fill the gaps. In Seeded Order mode the byes land on the weakest seeds so the top seeds get a free pass, just like a real tournament. In Random Draw mode byes are spread one per match so no match is ever bye-versus-bye.

Click any entrant’s name in a match and they advance to the next round automatically — the row lights up with a checkmark. If you change your mind and pick someone else, every result below that match is cleared automatically so the bracket always stays consistent. Bye matches are locked, since the real entrant advances without playing.

With Seeded Order, the order of your list is the tournament seeding — the first entrant is the #1 seed, the second is #2, and so on, paired in the classic 1-vs-last layout so the top seeds can only meet in the final. With Random Draw, entrants are shuffled into a fresh bracket each time — hit Re-draw for another shuffle. Switching is instant.

Yes. Hit Simulate (or press the Space bar) and the tool randomly decides every match, revealing results round by round with synthesized tick sounds before crowning the champion with a fanfare and confetti. Reset clears every result so you can run the tournament again — or click through matches yourself for a hand-picked outcome.

Yes. The Export panel copies the entire bracket as clean plain text — every round with each match and its winner, plus the champion — in one click, or downloads it as a .txt file. Perfect for pasting into a chat, printing a pool sheet, or keeping a record of the results.

It is 100% free with no registration, and everything runs entirely in your browser — entrants never leave your device. Your entrant list, Seeded/Random setting, and bracket draw are stored only in your browser’s localStorage, and the tool works fully offline on any screen, with horizontal scrolling for big brackets.
