Free Random Quiz Picker — Practice Your Question Bank

The UtilixVerse Random Quiz Picker turns any question bank into a self-test. Paste your questions (one per line), press Pick Random, and get one question at a time —without repeats until you have covered the entire bank. Perfect for revising before exams, quizzing a study group, or drilling yourself on tough topics.

Fair, Complete Coverage

Instead of random questions repeating while others sit untouched, the picker draws without replacement: every question appears exactly once per round. A live progress bar shows how many remain, and when the round finishes a fresh one begins automatically — so a 50-question bank becomes a genuinepractice test.

Built for Revision Workflows

Use it to quiz yourself before an exam, run study-group rounds, or quickly check which topics you remember. Combine it with Flashcards to learn, theStudy Timer to stay focused, and the Semester Planner to schedule it all.

Private, Offline, and Free

Your bank and progress live only in your browser's localStorage — no uploads, no accounts, no tracking. A genuinely free and private random question picker for students.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Random Quiz Picker

How does the Random Quiz Picker work?

Paste your question bank (one question per line), then press "Pick Random". The tool draws questions at random WITHOUT repeats until every question has been asked, then automatically starts a fresh round. A progress bar shows how many questions remain in the current round.

Why does it avoid repeats?

Random selection without replacement means you practice the WHOLE question bank evenly instead of seeing the same few questions repeatedly. Every question gets asked once before anything repeats — the fairest way to revise before an exam.

How do I add questions?

Type or paste your questions into the text area, one per line. The bank updates instantly as you type. Questions and your used-state are saved locally, so you can return to the same bank and continue where you left off.

What happens when I finish a round?

When every question has been picked, the counter shows the round is complete and the next press of "Pick Random" starts a fresh round (a banner marks "Round 2 starts now"). Hit "Reset Round" anytime to reshuffle the deck early.

Is this quiz tool free and private?

Yes. It is 100% free with no registration and works fully offline. Your question bank and progress are stored only in your browser’s localStorage and never sent to any server.

How is this different from flashcards?

The Quiz Picker is for self-testing a question bank — it surfaces one question at a time without repeats, so you can quiz yourself like a real test. Flashcards are for memorization with visible answers and flip-to-check. Use both: flashcards to learn, the picker to test.
